Chertel Poshtel ligger i Ban Chamun (2), 3,2 km fra domkirken for den ubesmittede undfangelse og 18 km fra Wat Chak Yai Buddhist Park. The hotel is very cozy and lovely. I guess there's only 3 rooms (2 rooms up stairs, 1 room down stairs). Hotel building are made from the wood and give very nice atmosphere. Breakfast is also very nice - there's many choices, unfortunately I am not having breakfast generally but my husband requested vegetarian breakfast - they made it specially for him. The owner couple is very lovely. Thank you very much for giving us the comfortable stay.

The bed very comfortable and the location relaxing with view on greenery, easily reachable but secluted place with a pond, very good reception and staff, felt welcome. Thank you!

Decoration truly made us feeling connected with nature, following eco hotel’s design and ‘breath in nature’ concept. Every part of hotel was insanely instagrammable. Overall facilities were well maintained and cared for. Located within 5-10 min walking distance to many local markets, Chantaboon waterfront community, Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Robinson, etc. Hotel was fully internationalized, so foreigners are welcome! Staffs were attentive, helpful and friendly. There was also a butterfly pea welcome drink for refreshment. You should take benefit of Buy 1 Get 1 drink during 14:00-16:00. Mapeed smoothies and Mapeed soda are really a MUST TRY. Main course was a la cart which either Asean or Western breakfast can be chosen (One order per person, but if you’d like more only Boiled rice Chantaboon style will be served). Buffet selections were not much, but rich with quality reminding of homemade cooking taste. We loved free flow Mapeed drink. Recommend to stay here and immerse yourself in nature and decent local food.

The staff were incredibly friendly. Breakfast was a great bonus with good options. Pool is open 24hrs. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds are soft and comfy.

Baan Rim Ao ligger i Chanthaburi og har udendørs swimmingpool, fitnesscenter, have og restaurant. Dette 4-stjernede hotel tilbyder roomservice, bagageopbevaring og gratis wi-fi. I usually don't like to stay in hotels, even the best and most famous ones. But the experience at Baan Rim Ao was exceptional! We planned a trip to Chanthaburi for two days to see the local sights and visit the jewelry market and didn't book the hotel in advance. We looked at what was available on booking for a reasonable price with 4 stars. 

 The hotel is not in the town itself but in a picturesque area near farms on the bay. We checked in not in tourist season and there was another couple from China staying in the entire hotel besides us. How surprised we were when in the evening a group of musicians came to the restaurant (there was even a saxophonist) and arranged a whole concert for us alone. And when they brought us the menu, we couldn't believe that the oysters cost no more than 160 Bt. We decided to try it and it turned out to be the best oysters in our life - the freshest and tender. 

 The staff is a separate story. No one speaks enough English to communicate with the guest. This is not a chain hotel where the staff is trained to international standards. And that's a good thing. Because they do everything with heart and full dedication to their work. No even the highest standards can reproduce this family atmosphere.

 We liked everything very much, down to the smallest detail. And we have also never seen such a perfectly clean pool! The man who takes care of the pool is a god in his business.
 I think Baan Rim Ao Hotel is the crown jewel of Chanthaburi.
