Niehku Mountain Villa is truly an unique place. The views from the hotel are spectacular and the building and its history are one of a kind. The staff and the service in the hotel were excellent. They made our stay very pleasant.

Scandic Kiruna er staðsett í Kiruna á Norrbotten-svæðinu, 5,7 km frá Kiruna-lestarstöðinni og 3,7 km frá Kiruna-rútustöðinni. Það er bar á staðnum. The best place to stay in Kiruna. There is a shuttle available from railway station (by the local government) which takes you to the hotel. Buffet is good and there are some shops around (COOP) to pickup food if you are a vegetarian.

Situated in Jukkasjärvi in northern Sweden, the Icehotel features rooms entirely made out of sculptured ice from the neighbouring Torne River. Warm rooms are also offered. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in a warm room (Kamoos) of Icehotel. The room was very spacious, cozy, nicely designed, decorated and lighted with typical Scandinavian styles which we liked. It had comfy beds, lots of storage spaces, roomy and nice bathroom with good quality amenities. Lovely view from the corner windows of our room where we could see trees covered with snow (early April) All hotel guests were free to roam around the cold rooms and all facilities such as the bar, exhibition, etc. which was an experience in itself. We also loved the breakfast which was at the hotel restaurant across the street. The buffet menu was superb, all you can eat cold and hot food including a lot of healthy options. There were many adventure activities offered at the Adventure Center. The 1,5 hour dogsledding tour we took was fun and of good value. We also enjoyed walking to the nearby frozen river and around the hotel complex. As temperature could get quite cold, as said it its website, we could borrow overall warm clothing and boots from the reception which was also provided for activities at the hotel. We took a train from Stockholm to Kiruna and then a bus to the hotel. Going back we asked the hotel staff to book a taxi for us.

Grand Hotel Lapland er staðsett í miðbæ Gällivare, beint á móti Gällivare-lestarstöðinni. Þetta svæði er þekkt fyrir bæði miðnætursólarnar og einstöku norðurljósin. Exactly what I needed after a few weeks of hiking. VERY comfortable bed, quite room, nice view, good shower, nice sauna with a great view.

Surrounded by mountain nature, the family-owned Camp Ripan .is a 10-minute car ride from Kiruna city centre. Excellent food, very good beer. Very friendly and polite staff. Good cleanliness. Excellent atmosphere for vacation

Located by Mount Luossavaara, Malmfältens Folkhögskola offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with free WiFi and a TV. All guests have access to a shared kitchen and lounge. - Incredibly good breakfast! With cooked salmon, eggs, cheese, ice cream, yogurt, vegetables, very healthy overall. - Amazing location, quiet and we have seen the northern lights from outside the building as the complex is near a hill. - Free sauna, warm rooms, hot water, self checkin - library, restaurant, play rooms, dorm like atmosphere, we had a 3 beds reservation and we had a 2 room apartment, one had the single bed, very good for snoring travelers. Tip: If u want to use the sauna let the staff know beforehand so they can leave u a key for the sauna.

SPiS Hotel & Hostel is just 150 metres from Kiruna’s main street, Föreningsgatan. It provides free WiFi and a free sauna and relaxation area. I stayed here for 3 nights and what a wonderful place! They informed me the free shuttle bus from train station which dropped me right on front. Cassandra is learning english so be patient with her and Mikael is amazing !!! He wasn’t just helpful, but very generous and excellent conversation. Early check in is supported when available which is fantastic, had a shower and went out and about for the day. Now the breakfast is insane , literally better than5* luxury hotels I’ve stayed in so many options you get confused what to eat! Linnen is fresh and good quality bedding is warm and comfortable. The laundry is free to use as is the awesome sauna , has industrial kitchen available for cooking Up a storm. Also they sell items for convenience if needed . And have a bar . Now the showers are a little tired but hot and gold enough. They are moving old city to new city therefor not renovating atm. The oldest and biggest church is across from Hotel and local pub 3 min walk. The hill to walk up to see auras 15 min walk so don’t do tours ! Best place to do husky sleigh is Kiruna husky . Book directly through their site, well loved dogs and well managed operation.

Located a 10-minute drive from central Kiruna, this hotel offers free WiFi, regional cuisine and modern rooms with a flat-screen TV. Very kind and helpful stuff. Good breakfast. Nice design, beautiful room. There was a little Spa, gym and swimmingpool that we and the kids enjoyed a lot.
