Went out of there way to help me, including accommodating my vegan diet for breakfast (even though I didn't ask, they asked me) and walked with me to show me an money exchange place with great rates. The grounds are well kept with lots of plants. The room was clean, beds soft, hot showers, and the AC worked well. There is a microwave to heat food down stairs. Is a short 5 to 7 minute walk from the city center. I plan to stay here again and would recommend it!

The hotel is immaculately clean and very comfortable. lots of area upstairs for relaxing outside of your room in a communal area. Great value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful. They brought a dog bed and water n food bowels for my dog. This was a nice touch but I had to pay for it… 30 soles extra was charged for my stay that I wasn’t happy about but receiving the dog bed for loan for the night made up for my disappointment. The breakfast was excellent!!!

rincipe I features a garden, terrace and shared lounge in Puerto Maldonado. All rooms feature a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. The manager was very nice and helpful. She helped to call a taxi and talked to the taxi driver to make sure that I am not over charged.

My highlights were the canopy walk at sunset with beautiful views above the trees at 40m height and the tours to the botanical and fruit gardens with the canoe tour along the Hacienda Concepcion with Shansha sightings.
