Situated in Lake Tekapo, 46 km from Mt. Dobson, Galaxy Boutique Hotel features accommodation with a shared lounge and free private parking. Everything about our stay was perfect. View is great, bathtub is lovely and very smartly designed with the glass. Tastefully designed and felt like luxury. The soap/shampoo/conditioner/body balm was super luxurious as well - made me go google on where I can buy it from. We were here on our honeymoon and they went the extra mile with rose petals and chocolates and towels folded to look like swans. Staff was really sweet and she helped us move our luggages up the slope to our room on level two, explained how everything worked. Breakfast was great - with cooked eggs (scrambled or fried) and bacon and grilled tomato and hashbrown etc, made to order when youre in the dining room (you can also opt to have it served in your room). The apartment also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. location is great, 1hour drive to Mt cook, 5 minutes to good Shepard’s church. the place is quiet, the owner is kind.

Located in Geraldine in the Canterbury region, The Empty Nest has a garden. The property features garden views. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Stand alone tiny cottage with bathroom, fridge, microwave. Very comfortable bed, electric blankets. Clean, everything felt new and worked well. Fiona was friendly and helpful, although there wasn’t need for any help as the cottage had everything.

Situated in Lake Tekapo and only 44 km from Mt. Dobson, Flat Rock features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden views. This was a great place in Lake Tekapo. The community was quiet, the kitchen was fully equipped, the bathroom nice and had a wonderful hot shower with high pressure, and the beds were SO comfy and had a much-needed heated pad. We had a car so it was a 4-minute drive to Four Square grocery (where you can walk to the Tekapo waterfront), but we also walked, and it took about 20-25 minutes, so depending on what you'd prefer, it's still reasonably close for those without a car. One thing to note, but not necessarily a bad thing, they do have a washer, but only a drying rack. This didn't bother me, but just wanted to let others know. Overall the stay was very cozy and I would absolutely come back here.

Beautifully decorated and has all facilities you would ever need on holidays. Very comfortable beds. Wish we had booked a longer stay.

Good water pressure, too. Kitchen was decently equipped. Hosts were responsive when we had questions about how to use certain appliances.

Fantastic place! What an amazing stay! Cosy room. Comfy beds. Clean and quiet! Wonderful hosts! Thank you very much, Col and Leo, for your warmhearted generosity. There is now free Wi-Fi at the place. Tipp: after Col‘s delicious breakfast have a look at Leo‘s astonishing museum. And lying in bed listen in the evening with open window to the birds in this unique garden!
