Extremely knowledgeable and friendly staff. The excursions are well worth it. Herman our guide taught us a great deal about the local wildlife. Seeing the desert elephants was a holiday highlight. He also took us to visit Twyfelfontein in the afternoon, it was quiet and a wonderful way to appreciate the stones. Again his knowledge was exceptional. The tents are very comfortable with a shower, toilet and WiFi. The food is all freshly cooked on site and the best we’ve had in Namibia.

Very nice lodge in a beautiful setting. Excellent hosts Dion and Lidia, nice dinner with discussions with other, interesting guests. Dion took us to an interesting evening trip along the Huab river bed. Sure to return next time we are in Namibia.

El Gondwana Damara Mopane Lodge está situado a 25 km de Khorixas y ofrece alojamiento en un semicírculo con pileta en el centro y conectado por senderos. Cottages are separate in their own little yards. Large room. The yards grow vegetables which the lodge uses for the meals. Staff are very good. Delicious buffet with game meat and a variety of vegetables. Maria, the server, was very good. Breakfast buffet is also good with a nice variety including hot food.

El Madisa Camp está situado en Kalkbron y ofrece alojamiento con pileta al aire libre, bar y zona de parrilla. Todos los alojamientos tienen patio con vistas a la montaña. Great location for Twyfelfontein and Brandberg. Staff and management very welcoming, good prepared dinner as we didn't want to self cater. Nice rugged surroundings but accessible for 2wd vehicle.
