So accommodating and incredibly helpful with anything or any information you needed about the town. They took me to get my snow gear fitted, where to get my ski pass and showed me all the local restaurants. The lodge itself is so cosy and such an amazing place to relax. It was everything I was hoping for. If you want one of the best snow experiences of your life, this place is a must.

Boasting a shared lounge and free WiFi, 森の宿 ビヨルク is located in Myoko. Bjork was very comfortable, clean and stylish. It is nestled in the middle of the woods so some of the windows framed the natural beauty of the Myoko area. The couple who run the place are meticulous about every detail and you feel well taken care of from the first moment to the last. We ordered the breakfast both mornings and it was delicious and satisfying. It was nice to come back to the smell of a fireplace after a day on the hills. We will return there if we go back to Myoko in the future.

The owners, Peter and Jenny and the team made us feel very welcome and it felt like a home from home. The breakfast was always amazing! Really nice common areas to relax and unwind in and the hotel onsen was great after a day on the slopes. My partner made good use of the onsite physio - Don is an excellent physio and worked his magic. We stayed over the New Year holidays and the team made us feel very welcome and it was nice to share a drink with their friends and family. Thank you! We would definitely visit again.

Just a 4-minute walk from JR Niigata Station, Juraku Stay Niigata is a business hotel. Free WiFi is available throughout the entire property. Location is a little bit far away from the train station but it’s still good for us. The room is clean but still have a little bit dirty for example the chair has dirt, I think it’s cause of the hotel have years. The breakfast is pretty good but if they have a bit more of the western style food is much better.

Quite nice modern hotel right next to the station. I have enjoyed the onsen which had two different types of bath with different temperature, which was very good. There is also a sauna and cold water cool. The bed was super comfy and we had a good rest. Wi-fi was fast enough for voice calls. Will be my default hotel option if we go to Niigata again.

The price is so good - the rooms are small but for the price you’re paying and if you get your room cleaned everyday, me and my friend had no issues. The location is excellent, we were near a nice milk tea place and close enough to walk to the park to see the cherry blossoms at sunset

Everything was so serene and pretty. The staff were Very kind and welcoming. They found out it was our anniversary and made us a special dessert! We have all kinds of food restrictions and they took them all into consideration. The room was amazing and had a beautiful veiw. The food was very good and all locally sourced. 100 percent would recommend this ryokan! The onsen in the room was so peaceful and the common one had a view to the mountains

Immaculately clean and excellent, friendly service. The staff goes out of their way to accommodate our needs, even arranging for ski instructors for our kids when there usually aren’t ski lessons during the week. The food was so delicious! The buffet breakfast and special nightly dinners were such treats. We felt like royalties! The Onsens were clean and calming. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return if our travels bring us back to Myoko. Many thanks to all the staff who made our trip so memorable. We wish you all the best!
