Earlier that day, we could enjoy the amazing cultural songs of the oiwake in nearby Esashi and then relax at the hot springs at the accommodation. A delicious breakfast was cooked by the friendly local staff.

Hakodate is definitely a unique Japanese city, very laid-Back, interesting history and on the verge of becoming a major tourist attraction - so visit soon.
