The guest house is located in an old authentic house, very nicely renovated and tastefully furnished. The interior of the guest house is much more impressive in reality than the photos can convey. The view from the roof top terrace to the City palace is breath taking! The guest house is very clean. The breakfast was plentiful and the omelette was the tastiest in India. The special praise must go to the staff, who were very helpful and gave a lot of personal attention.

The hotel is in a great location, on the Lake. The staff were all terrific. The check in process was smooth, and the rooms were luxurious. We had lunch and complementary breakfast in the dining hall, and it did not disappoint. The range of food offerings was terrific. Moreover, the staff were very accommodating. Despite these being buffet meals, the staff were readily available and showed keenness to serve us a wide variety of items. We were assigned a personal assistant, who was friendly and flexible, and gave us a great tour of the entire "palace". We had a special dinner at the Sheesh Mahal, the offerings and quality of the food was par excellent. The service was impeccable.
