The Crown Inn Pooley Bridge has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Pooley Bridge. This 4-star hotel offers a 24-hour front desk. Lovely property, we travelled with my elderly father and he had the accessibility room and slept really well in the main building and had no complaints. The staff were excellent, room lovely and clean, breakfast was a full English and eggs Benedict, both cooked perfectly.

A Regency house overlooking Ullswater, the Macdonald Leeming House has an award-winning restaurant and views of the Cumbrian Fells. It is a 15-minute drive from the M6 motorway. Everything, its a dream place to stay.

By Ullswater Lake, Patterdale Hotel offers home-cooked food, a garden terrace and lounges with fireplaces. Hotel Patterdale is between 2 scenic mountain ranges. it had everything we needed. rooms were comfortable and quite spacious. bar was great and entertainment good.

The breakfast is delicious and homemade, the best one we have had at a hotel or bed and breakfast. The owners are very kind; they provided us with helpful suggestions and tips for our excursions.

Lots of great walks nearby and the barn itself is on a beautiful piece of land with its own Wool shop, and sheep in the land. Thoroughly enjoyed the tasty breakfast, with such a great choice of fruits, yoghurts, full English, cereals etc. The beds are very comfortable, had the best nights sleep and the rooms are great size and done to a high quality standard. The owners are great, so friendly & welcoming & really go out of their way with small extra touches, like freshly baked cake on arrivals. Would 100% recommend buying their deli grazing boards, very delicious and great value for money!

The lodge was spotless and furnishings were so comfy. The owners have paid great attention to detail and their is everything you could possibly need. The views from the balcony is wonderful. Beautiful touches such as prosecco and fresh flowers on arrival. The hosts are on site due to being a working farm and they are so friendly nothing is to much for them. Only 10 mins walk into poorly bridge.
