Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was wonderful. Rooms were clean and cozy. Ample parking right behind the hotel and an easy walk to the center of town. Our room also afforded a lovely view of the lake. The front on the hotel has a lovely seating area and garden where my wife and I had an evening drink from the hotel's honesty bar (well-stocked).

The room was a very good size, comfortable, very clean. Staff very friendly but professional. Lovely breakfast with cooked items buffet and some pastries, fruit, cereal and yogurts. Generally lovely facilities, especially the lounge with the fireplace.
