Set in Merthyr Tydfil, within 38 km of Cardiff Castle and 38 km of Principality Stadium, Howfield Hotel features free WiFi throughout the property. The place is spotless. Very tidy and convenient rooms. A lot of effort seems to have been put I to this boutique hotel. Kudos! Well done!!

Questa antica locanda per la sosta delle carrozze si trova ai margini di Brecon Beacons, nella storica città di mercato di Abergavenny. I loved the vibe in this hotel. Very characteristic but also modern comforts. Lots of activity in the bars and restaurants. Very lively. Beautiful spacious room. Friendly people. I loved the restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip to Wales here. Breakfast was outstanding. Great table service, drink top ups. Loved the hospitality. The town is lovely as well. Parking lot behind the hotel.

Breakfast was basic continental: cereal, toast, a croissant on one day, yogurt. Fine. There's as restaurant too, that does mainly fish and chips, that sort of thing. Not gourmet, but cheap and pleasant. The location was fine--Talgarth is a very small town, and you could easily walk anywhere from the hotel. It's on a somewhat busy road, but at night it's very quiet. The owners, twin brothers, are exceptionally helpful and friendly. Obviously at this price you don't expect luxury--but it's quite excellent value. I would certainly return.

One of the most beautiful pubs/hotels I stayed in. Stunning 500 year old building beaming with character in picture perfect Crickhowell. Cosy, tastefully decorated rooms, great bathroom. Fantastic dinner amazing breakfast, including local produce. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay again.
