The food is the best we had in Scotland up till now. The room is very pleasant with a homey feel. The staff are very friendly. We even got a box of chocolates in our room and also a special treat for our celebration. I will definitely be back. This time with my dog, since they are very welcome there.

Situated in Helensburgh and with Glasgow Botanic Gardens reachable within 38 km, Rooms Above Sugar Boat features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi and a bar. I really enjoyed my stay at Sugar Boat. The room was well-designed, spotless and the bed was super comfy. The shower was great and there were some extra features like a kettle, a selection of teas, ground coffee, and two freshly baked shortbread cookies. I had dinner at their bistro with their soup of the day (red cabbage with sour cream), accompanied by crispy and buttery sourdough bread. At breakfast, I wanted to try their porridge and it was scrumptious. The quality of each ingredient was high, portions were generous, and the price was more than reasonable. The staff were kind and easy-going. I definetely recommend Sugar Boat and hope to return soon.

Corrie House is set in Craobh Haven and has a shared lounge, a garden and a terrace. Private parking is provided. All guest rooms at the hotel come with a seating area. The location of Corrie House is awesome. This is a place where you just want to come and relax with the view of the isles in front of you. Roger and Sally are great hosts and have thought a lot about the property, what guests need and how to make their stay comfortable. There is nothing that we didn't like about Corrie House, the stay, the location or anything. Pitch Perfect!
