Between Saone River and St Philibert Abbey, The Hôtel Le Rempart, Tournus is a former 15th century guard house, now completely renovated hotel. it is very good value for money. Boon dinner at the restaurant, it’s delicious.

Hôtel & Spa Les Sept Fontaines Best Western Premier features a restaurant, fitness centre, a bar and garden in Tournus. The front desk clerk was the best. Super helpful and accommodating.

Macon Nord Peage is ideally located near Macon, a city that continues to demonstrate its rich architectural and cultural heritage. This hotel offers excellent value, convenience and of course,... It was cheap and easy! A quick stay to pass through I would highly recommend.

This Campanile hotel is situated in Chaintre, just 8 km from the centre of Mâcon and a 5-minute drive from the A6 motorway. Aircon worked well. Next to a good Buffalo Gril next door which also had good Aircon.

Le Chardon is set in the wine-producing village of Chardonnay, a 30-minute drive from both Mâcon and Chalon-sur-Saône. Le Chardon is run by a very nice young couple giving good service.

Le Moulin du Gastronome is a 10-minute drive from the A6 motorway. It offers an outdoor swimming pool with a shaded garden. Each guest room is soundproofed, air-conditioned and has a flat-screen TV. This was an amazing find. we stopped off overnight on our travels back through France.
