This is a newly remodeled hotel. It is very beautiful and truly a 5 star hotel. They kindly upgraded us to a slightly larger room, which was very nice. The dinner at the restaurant was exceptional! There is free parking in front of the hotel and on the street. The hotel offers parking at about 15 Euro/nt, but since it is not a covered parking, the free parking next to it is just as good. The location of this hotel is high in the Pyrenees mountains where skiing is very popular. We visited this hotel in mid June and the weather was perfect. We did not know anything about Canfranc, but there are a lot of beautiful villages within a short driving distance. This area of Pyrenees is extremely picturesque and great for hiking. We were pleasantly surprised to find so much to do in this area and were mesmerized by its beauty.

Set in the centre of Jaca, Hotel El Acebo features a restaurant, bar and snack bar. The hotel is 200 metres from Ciudadela de Jaca and just 50 metres from the Cathedral. Staff was very nice and helpful. Gave excellent advice on what to do in and around Jaca. Patient with beginner Spanish.

The quality of the room was very good, the hotel was also very clean and very conveniently located (although Canfranc is very small, so all hotels are very close to the train station; as well as all the nice hiking paths)!

The hotel is situated in a quiet area of Jaca, in the midst of the Aragonese Pyrenees, the perfect location to relax and enjoy the picturesque scenery. I stayed here twice, both on the outward and homeward legs of my trip. The friendly staff made up for my lack of Spanish. The room was great and I had a spot in the locked garage for my motorcycle.
