Stayed a few nights here with my husband and eight-month-old son. The rooms and bathrooms here are clean and spacious -- perfect for families. The large covered outdoor space (terrace, loggia) attached to each room is also great, both to spend time in on nice nights and for storing strollers so that they are out of the way! We appreciated the water and drinks areas on each floor. My son enjoyed the crib we requested (provided free of charge), which was roomy and sturdy. The buffet breakfast had a good selection of coffee drinks, cold and hot items. The staff were friendly and efficient. The farm stand onsite is a fun place to do some local food shopping, and we had dinner at the restaurant, which was on the expensive side but tasty. Can't speak much to the location, as we were just passing through but we loved how quiet and calm the area was at night. For about 120E per night, we were very satisfied with our stay!

Superb stay. Friendly family run guesthouse. Beautifully situated, driving through the forest to get here. Beautiful views. Large clean spacious room leading to a large shared terrace that can be partitioned for privacy. Room no.4 had tea, coffee facilities, sofa and table and a large, clean bathroom. No fridge in the bedroom, but water and drinks available from shared fridge in the landing. A lovely touch when holidaying in Germany. Breakfast was delicious with choice of meats, cheese, jams, fresh bread rolls and juice, and their scrambled eggs were the best ever! Beautiful restaurant also for an evening meal. We had the steak, and their grilled meat plate. Homemade fries and more fresh vegetables would have been more appreciated on the plate rather than just shop bought fries. However the meat was perfectly cooked. Dessert was delicious. Great choice of wine available.

We were warmly welcomed. We were asked if we prefer to stay at the ground floor or on the first floor (there are balconies). The room was pretty nice are very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast very delicious. The house is in a very quiet area, and not to forget to mention Mrs Hierholzer, she is the host and she is very friendly and kind. If you need something or help, she is guiding you and gives you useful tips. We were also looking in the vecinity for a rental and she asked someone if they have something for us and told us where to go to get more details. We really enjoyed our stay and we recommend this guesthouse if you want a quiet zone, a delicious breakfast and friendly staff.
