The neighbored restaurant served excellent food with friedly employees. I would come visit again when I travel to Germany with my family.

This traditional, family-run hotel and restaurant is located next to the Rathaus town hall in the historic centre of Heppenheim. It features modern rooms with free WiFi internet. Breakfast was fantastic with a choice of eggs, fresh bread, lots of cold cuts and muesli and additional things. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The bathroom was a tiny bit small but not a big deal for me. There was a bit of a stain on the carpet but everything else was updated and nice. Fair warning, no elevators so lots of stairs to carry suitcases up. Neighborhood was so quaint and walking around was a highlight. There was parking behind the hotel which was convenient, though getting to the hotel was a bit difficult as some of the small roads were blocked off.

Set on the edge of a picturesque forest, this country-style hotel offers a rich buffet breakfast and a terrace with beautiful countryside views. Rooms at Waldschenke Fuhr feature a balcony. Wonderful stay and hearty breakfast. The room was very large and had a nice sitting area both inside and out on the balcony. We booked that day, and the hotel was great about communicating how to access our room.
