The best hotel i've ever stayed. Really enjoyed it. Unique experience. I had even a real fireplace in my cottage. Spa and massage were just amazing. Food was delicious too. Thank you!

Located in Piedades, 42 km from Poas National Park, Canal Grande Lodge provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. Amazing property with a wonderful view of the sunset. We had a large room, everything was very clean, staff very friendly. The food in the restaurant a few steps away was great. Breakfast at the pool was good, too. The lodge is actually even nicer in reality than shown in the photos. We needed about 35min. by car to get to the airport. We would return any time.

Very good breakfast. Despite late arrival staff accommodated dinner which was delicious. Provided us a heater for the room which was needed. Take the stroll trough the botanic garden which is very nice. Definitely should have stayed one more night to enjoy it

The manager and staff were exemplary. The cleanliness impeccable. I met one of the maintenance staff who was meticulously wiping the leaves of one of the plants with such care who said, ‘yes, it’s a lot of work but it makes them look beautiful, no?’ And I thought this was a good example of the ethos of the hotel. Special thanks to manager Marcos, for helping to make my stay south a pleasure.

Situated on the edge of Los Quetzatles National Park, Sueños del Bosque offers rustic bungalows with a free daily breakfast, free WiFi and views of the tropical cloud forest. We ordered the typical breakfast (gallo pinto, eggs, etc); it was delicious and sufficient in size. It was also served with fresh tropical fruit and good coffee. The views at this hotel are beautiful, nestled into nature!
