Located on a slope above the village of Miglieglia and 16 km from Lugano, Albergo Santo Stefano is a traditional Ticinese style building from the 18th century. It offers rooms with a private bathroom.... What a truly special place. They have thought of every detail! Beds very comfortable and rooms really clean, and the spot is magical. Love all the common areas outside the rooms and so nice how they have laid out books and games and all. Breakfast was delicious - esp the homemade jams and homemade granola. Location is brilliant for hiking. Wish we lived closer so we could go more often.

Overlooking Lake Lugano, 3 km away, Albergo Ristorante Stampa is set in the village of Cadegliano Viconago, outside Ponte Tresa. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. We loved the location and the view of the lake and the town. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant was beautiful with very delicious food. We had dinner and breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed both dining experiences. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The view is worth every penny and I would say the price is anyways very affordable. The food at the Ristorante is exquisite (especially the pizze, since they are a pizzeria in the first place), the lunch menu is extremely recommendable, as it provides you with so many delicious dishes included in the already very low price. The closest supermarket is in Lavena Ponte Tresa and can be reached either by bus (there is a bus stop exactly in front of the hotel) or just by foot, since it's just about 2.5 km which can be walked in 30'. It's super close to Switzerland, there's even Swiss network still available...

Cozy hotel in ancient building in the center of the village. Clean and nicely equiped room, very good breakfast and best coffee! Best option for 60chf in this region!
