I've asked several questions prior to my visit and the hotel always came back with prompt and helpful responses! The owner of the hotel, a lovely lady, greeted me at the reception and provide great travel advices in Interlaken. The location of the hotel is amazing - less than 10 mins to Interlaken West train station, and around 15 mins to go to the old town (Unterseen). Breakfast buffet includes delicious Swiss bread, cheese, meat slices, and cereals. Highly recommend it!

The Views from the Hotel Strand were magnificant. Beautiful setting, nice and quiet with a cute little balcony to enjoy the lake views. The room was better then the pictures. Cozy with complimentary tea and coffee. The beds are firm like most of Europe which is what we like. The morning buffet was delicious with large variety. The staff was so kind and helpful. From here we explore Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, and Giessbach water fall. Definitely will be back to explore and hike in this area of Switzerland again. We were here beginning of May when all the spring wild flowers are in bloom.

En primer lugar por su ubicación, se encuentra en una zona tranquila pero a menos de 10 minutos andando desde la estación de tren, y a 5 minutos andando de Harder Kulm. El aspecto del hotel es semejante a un balneario o residencia, dado que es un edificio no muy alto con pasillos muy anchos. En mi caso, me sorprendió que tuviera acceso al balneario (aunque no pude hacer uso de él por falta de tiempo) y el desayuno estaba bien. La habitación era muy amplia, fiel a las fotos, camas cómodas y silenciosa, tenía incluso terraza. El baño estaba adaptado para minusválidos. Repetiría al 100% superó mis expectativas.
