The architecture attracted me to make the reservation and it lived up to expectations. FYI, i dont know Basel very well and have not stayed overnight before. It is a good location and easy to get to the concert hall etc. The courtyard is extra special and will be a key reason to return if/when th opportunity arises in the future.

Bloom Hotel & Bar i Basel ligger inom 50 meter från Messe Basel och 1,1 km från Blå och Vita huset. Här erbjuds en bar och rum med gratis Wi-Fi. The reception personnel were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. The gentleman who greeted me was very professional and knowledgeable and the lady on the desk in the morning was of the same calibre - extremely pleasant. Whilst settling the account upon checkout it was lovely to be informed that the chocolates and water which I had consumed in the room were complimentary. The room was more than adequate and suited to my needs. It was a "Triple" room, but I wouldn't have enjoyed sharing such a small space for more than a simple nights rest. For me alone it was perfect. The double bed was luxurious and I slept extremely well, felt very refreshed and restored in the morning. A coffee pod machine and tea bags were available to make a morning brew. A small fridge for essentials. Great TV which I had a quick flick through. Modern system interface with easy navigation. Vast amount of services available: television, radio, movies, internet, information etc. The bathroom was very modern and new, and the shower absolutely great. Towels were absolutely divine - big, white and fluffy as they should be! Despite the location there wasn't any noise disturbance, even on a Saturday night in central Basel. The hotel is sited virtually opposite the Messeplatz tramline, a very busy and prosperous area of Basel. You can get to anywhere in Basel from here and the main train station is just a few minutes away. Just around the corner is a high street full of shops, restaurants, bars etc (Clarastrase). From Messeplatz you can take Tram 8 to Weil am Rhein train station in Germany, just over the border. France is just a tram ride away too! Breakfast was available but I already had plans for meeting outside, so I didn't experience it. The breakfast room was in a separate area behind the reception. Next to the reception was a bar/coffee lounge and this looked very inviting.

I really like this place cozy with modern very nice and friendly staff the breakfast was amazing specially the scramble eggs. all thanks for the team in this hotel
