It had been a while since I loved a place this much in Thailand - the beds are private and comfortable, the ensuite bathroom was amazing with lots of natural sunlight, great to have the pantry and common spaces, staff was super lovely and helpful, centric location in Lamai and so on… I can only talk wonders about this place!

Beautiful and peaceful place, far enough from the crowds but not so far from the beach by motorbike. You can rent a motorbike directly at your accommodation, ask in Anjar. Anjar, the owner, is the kind of person you are really happy to meet on your trip. Perfect from the start to the end of your stay. He comes directly to the pier and takes you through your accommodation and does the same when you leave, free of charge. He is always available to give you advice and help, always smiling. This guy is a legend! I wish you the best for the future, thank you again my friend!

DK1Hostel er staðsett í Chaweng og innan við 1 km frá Chaweng-ströndinni. Boðið er upp á alhliða móttökuþjónustu, herbergi, sameiginlega setustofu, ókeypis WiFi hvarvetna á gististaðnum og verönd. The owner is absolutely lovely, she makes sure you have a great time there and introduces everybody. It really felt like family staying there! Would definitely come back :)

The Rock Samui - áður þekkt sem The Rock Residence - SHA Extra Plus, er staðsett í Lamai, 80 metra frá Rocky's-ströndinni og býður upp á gistirými með útisundlaug, ókeypis einkabílastæði,... Everything perfect, the best combination of a hostel and a hotel. Private beach (in my opinion one of the best on Ko Samui), yummy food, hostel rooms very clean, comfortable and sleeping there was really nice. Free drinking water for guests in the shared kitchen as well! Jerome helped with everything and I am so happy I spent my time on Ko Samui here. I truly think this was better than 90% of accomodations I’ve ever visited throughout Asia, and I definitely will be coming back here. 11/10

Chill Inn Lipa Noi Hostel and Beach Cafe er staðsett í Koh Samui, nokkrum skrefum frá Lipa Noi-ströndinni og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, bar og vatnaíþróttaaðstöðu. Nice location on the beach, a peaceful place to get away from the more touristy parts of the island. The wifi was good for working, aircon good, beds comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly, especially Shine, who always went out of his way to see if I needed anything.

Chill Inn Lamai Hostel & Beach Cafe er staðsett í Koh Samui og býður upp á garð, sameiginlega setustofu, verönd og veitingastað. Since the Hostel is located directly at the beach with a small bar you can easily go for a swim at any time or enjoy a cold beverage while looking at the waves. Especially the host, Jim is really adorable. He cares so much about everybody at the hostel so everyone has a good time. Once he drove a girl, who stepped on a sea urchin to the hospital for free just like that. He even organizes trips to go out in the evening together like to a night market or thai boxing. That makes it really easy to get in touch with new people, so I would recommend it especially to solo-travelers.
