It was a perfect stay at this place in peaceful Porto Santo island - spacious, clean, with calm and friendly atmosphere and very nice other guests, great for a real vacation. Located in Funchal and with Marina do Funchal reachable within 2 km, FX Pena provides a tour desk, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. We stayed one night before our flight back, but we really liked it there. The place is on a bit of a steep street but close to the city center, you can walk 15 minutes to the marina and the bars. The staff is very nice, the girl at the reception welcomed us nicely and explained everything we needed pleasantly. The place is very clean and tidy, Small room, shared kitchen, 2 bathrooms/toilets, homey and pleasant atmosphere. Looking back, we would have spent more nights there on our vacation.

Featuring a garden, bar and views of sea, Jaca Hostel Funchal is set in Funchal, 800 metres from Almirante Reis Beach. If I said everything it will non. But hostel is amazing. Localisation is perfect, you can walk everywhere from hostel. Nice local coffee shops around. Very clean place, super helpful, kind and funny staff. I slept in different hostels but this one is more then hostel. Totally recommend. And I am very thankful 😊😊
