The hostel even organised social nights when they cooked for everyone, and there is always coffee and tea available free of charge. Conveniently located close to the train station (5-10 min walk)

The hostel was very clean with good facilities. The town of Biassa is charming and close to both La Spezia and hikes of the Cinque Terre. I was there in the offseason so it was very quiet, but the other travelers there were very nice fellow hikers!
