The staff is amazing, very nice and fun. The rooms are huge and so clean, it's amazing who perfectly decorated each and every space is! The breakfast is delicious, everything is freshly made! And the restaurant serves the most amazing food and drinks! They have a huge collection of beers and an amazing sangria!

Sungate Hostel is located in the very centre of Madrid, 210 metres from Puerta del Sol and 5 minutes' walk away from Callao metro station and Gran Vía Avenue. Free WiFi access is available. This hostel was centrally located and most attractions were close by and a short walking distance. The metro is less than 5 minutes away if you need to go to the train station or airport. The host Angel and the staff made this place feel like a home away from home on the holidays! They went above an beyond my expectations and were very welcoming and accommodating at any hour, day or night. This hostel has many fun activities and events going on so you will always have something to do. Sungate has been my favorite hostel I’ve stayed at so far and anytime I’m in Madrid I know where I’m staying! Thank you to everyone who makes this hostel run smoothly!!

It was quiet, cozy and very clean. The room had everything we needed. The location was very good, close to all main tourist attractions.

The organisation in the rooms. I LOVED that that shower and the toilet were separate, and the sink was in the room itself. We did not have to que for the bathroom as each of us in the room could do our own thing. Beds had a really high ceiling. Extremely comfortable, with a night light and a curtain. The facilities and the room were cleaned daily and everything was exceptional
