Great hostel in a tiny building with the best staff I met in Japan who were smiling, opened to conversations and helpful! They provide free tea/coffee and can store your luggage even before check-in!

The japanese style room was absolutely gorgeous, and one of the workers at Nagonoya was super helpful and went above and beyond! I needed to make a reservation at a specific restaurant that's hard to get one at and I didn't have a japanese phone number so she made the call for me and managed to get me one despite their reluctance without a phone #. I'm just really sad we didn't get to see her again to say thank you since we got back late and checked out early before they opened. 電話でレストランの予約をして手伝ってくれて本当にありがとうございました！！超感謝しています！次回名古屋に旅行するとまた「なごのや」でステイして嬉しくなります。

Sincere & hardworking staff who are always ready to help Hygienic environment & cozy sleeping area The only drawback is the luggage storage, being too small & once big luggages ties with locks provided, small luggages couldn’t get squeezed into the narrow slot Snores neighbours & indifferent matters in greeting others get environment a bit weird. But anyway, this depends on luck
