Dopa Hostel is located Bologna, a 10-minute walk from the Cathedral and 350 metres from Palazzo Poggi Museum. It features free WiFi throughout. Bologna Centrale Station can be reached on foot in 15 minutes.

I arrived at night around 9:30 pm and the staff was very nice when receiving me. They explained everything to me. The location is very nice, it has a delicious restaurant right in front and a bus stop very close as well. The bed was really comfortable. Breakfast was amazing as well, the bathroom was clean, and again the staff was helpful and nice :)

With a private bathroom fitted with a bidet and a hairdryer, rooms at the hostel also boast free WiFi, while some rooms have a garden view. All rooms have bed linen.

Quadrilatero Bologna is 2.4 km from Bohoostel, while Piazza Maggiore is 2.5 km from the property. The nearest airport is Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport, 8 km from the hostel.

Though a bit outside of the city center, it was easily accesible by foot or bus. There is a bus stop very close by, a supermarket with all you may need, and even a park and cinema right across from it! Rooms was spacious and comfortable, personal lockers and night lamps and switches for each bed are super practical. Having a code to enter the property and room added to the sense of safety. There are washing machines for rent and, while I did not pay the extra €5 for breakfast, it looked really good (mostly pastries, yoghurt, juice and coffee. Italians usually have sweet non-protein based stuff for breakfast).

A very nice place to stay! It is very clean. It is perfect for digital nomads. I would recommend it.

Looking for a hostel?

Budget travellers know that there is no better way to make the most of their trip than by staying at a hostel: save money for exploring during the day, and swap stories with fellow backpackers in the shared kitchen or bar in the evening. Dorm-style bedrooms with shared bathrooms are standard hostel fare, but private rooms are also available for those willing to pay a bit more.

One of the best hostels I've stated at. Clean, quiet & a separate bar/cafe area with a great outdoor chill space. Great staff. I recommend it fully.

The hostel is very much a boutique hostel. The room (6 bed dorm) was very spacious and allowed for privacy. Communication was great, they were preparing for a busy summer season, so we had some special instructions that were well thought out and explained to us. Good to see the property is being looked after. Bologna is not a cheap city, accommodation or food wise, but I consider the hostel good value for money. They also prepared a nice dinner get together for the guests that everyone seemed to enjoy.

    - Location in the center but quiet - 10 minutes walk to Piazza Magiore - Breakfast was included in the price and was ok (sausage/cheese/bread/sweets/coffee/water/juice) - nothing exciting but ok for starting the day in the hotel - The room was big enough but had more of a youth hostel character than a hotel; Otherwise everything you need is there; efficient - Secure parking space available

We loved our stopover here , it was perfect , very comfortable, with a few special touches . Great location. We loved its proximity to a place where we could park our van safety and cheaply , while we had a night away from it

The hostel is super clean, I loved that each bed comes with its own light and a plug socket. The bathrooms have soap and a hairdryer and they’re always clean. I really enjoyed working on the terrace and I met some amazing people in my dormitory. I’d definitely recommend this hostel.

Great location, really near the main square but hide from the noise of the main streets, Independence for entering and going out of the hostel at any hour, safe locker for the luggage, 3 bathrooms available, wi-fi worked well. Is a good place for a quick visit of the city (2 nights).

due to the smallness of this hostel it automatically makes it very cosy and not socializing with the other friendly guest is basically impossible. also thanks to the couches in the common area and the funky interior design you cannot not feel like in a safe place. it's very clean too. oh and i haven't even talked about the staff sofar: they are amazing - every single one of them! very well managed. would recommend this backpackers paradise to all my friends. cheers and enjoy=)

Great, central location, charming and helpful staff, tasteful, artistic interior. The bunk beds have curtains and individual lamps and sockets. The bathrooms were clean. Compared to a lot of other hostels, this one was certainly more up-market and I would recommend it to anybody looking for budget accommodation and a better than average experience.
