Der er udsigt over havet fra værelserne på dette luksuriøse hotel, der ligger ved havnefronten i Montevideo. The hotel itself, is a real gem. This is due to the following reasons. Number one is the staff……totally efficient and able to address and solve more complex travellers issues.As well, from front desk to room attendants, I was greeted each day with genuine enthusiasm regarding customer care. Number two is hotel amenities…….. gym, weights, mats, all with the rooftop view…… who wouldn’t want to work out!? 😃 And of course, the wonderful rooftop swim spa which you may book at your convenience for private use. Loved it. Number three is LOCATION….. it simply doesn’t get better than this sweet Punta Carretas neighbourhood. With the hotel right on the Rambla, there is shopping and the fantastic selection of restaurants all right around the corner. Meanwhile, back at the hotel, you have always got the wonderful view……

Chic decor and views of Montevideo Bay can be enjoyed in Mercure Montevideo Punta Carretas. There is a fitness centre on-site and a swanky lounge area. The Staff were absolutely Brilliant. I needed to contact a doctor during my stay and all the staff were very helpful and caring, especially Fabricio. I could not have asked for better service, even got breakfast delivered to my room with a smile.

Studio apartment in a great location in the Pocitos area of Montevideo. Beautiful view of the beach and rambla from a very nice and cozy balcony. Near everything: restaurants, cafes, markets, atms, banks, laundry, farmacies, etc. Very smooth check in and check out. 24 hr reception desk. Antique elevator in a modern buiding. Pablo is a great host that even though we didn't meet in person was always available and attentive to our requests or questions.

Very clean and well equipped flat. Having a balcony was nice. High water pressure and consistently hot water. Easy to access but on the 11th floor, so very safe. Very beautiful view of the beach from the balcony. Bed was very comfortable, one of the best night's sleep I've had in South America. Pablo was a very responsive and attentive host. Would definitely recommend and will stay again if ever in Montevideo.
