Not only was the room beautifully done up, it was also spotlessly, or should I say, squeaky clean and had everything that we needed for our stay. The photos do no justice, reality looks better. Tom and Ria were a very sweet couple, ever helpful in providing us with information on Ghent and helping us with our luggage up the stairs. Really appreciate it and also appreciate the ride to the train station that Tom gave us since it was a public holiday. Thanks Ria and Tom. We will definitely recommend your place to anyone visiting Ghent.

B&B De Waterzooi biedt 3 suites met gratis WiFi in een huis uit 1713 in het centrum van Gent. Dit designhotel ligt aan de voet van kasteel Gravensteen en biedt uitzicht op de stad. De Waterzooi was such a lovely place to stay! We stayed in the 1st floor suite and it far exceeded our expectations. The view you won't believe it until you see it! The castle looked fake almost through the large windows. Location was perfect. The room was beyond spacious with a huge living area with very comfortable sectional couch and amazing views of the castle. The bedroom was cozy and the bed was memory foam with controls for each side to adjust height. The rain shower was great. We also had a private terrace with lounge chairs that was lovely to sit on and enjoy a glass of wine and Belgian beers! Above all the owners were so kind and accommodating. The breakfast is worth the extra charge. It was by far the best breakfast we received all trip. We even received a parting gift which was a lovely touch. Would absolutely stay here again if I'm lucky enough to return to Ghent.
