Definitly going back! Scott was exceptional at meeting our needs to check in (several rooms) early. He made sure that we had all we needed. All staff was very friendly. The outdoor fireside seating area was relaxing and beautiful. Breakfast was yummy!

I actually brought my own food, which I usually do when traveling. My room was very clean and comfortable. The AC unit was the quietest of any units in other hotels I’ve stayed in. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

My stay was great.I would highly recommend this destination to everyone that wants a comfortable, affordable and friendly spot to go. The things I appreciated most was no extra fee for pets,a great variety for breakfast and very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Upward is a great friendly town .
Upward is a great friendly town . It is near tons of shopping, restaurants, aquarium, and zoo, which were all just beautiful to visit and eat at. We especially loved the little town and the lodge on McMurray Road was beautiful and I had so much to offer there also. The lodge that we stayed at was very close to Pretty Place, Chapel in Cleveland South Carolina, which was breathtaking. We recommend anyone to go to upward North Carolina.

The hotel in entirety was spotlessly clean. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Having the kitchenette was handy and saved us quite a bit on our budget to cook and eat in our room. The heated pool was amazing and relaxing. My son has autism and he was ecstatic over swimming in the dark with just the light of the pool. I will definitely stay here again and again when traveling through.
