The linens smelled like bleach, which usually means they're pretty clean. Others might say the bed was hard, but I thought it was perfect! The customer service was awesome! Ravi was very kind!

Dunes Home 3 Bedroom I 2 Baths I 2 Living rooms, hotel in Chesterton

Featuring a garden, Dunes Home 3 Bedroom I 2 Baths I 2 Living rooms offers accommodations in Chesterton.

The home is spacious and clean, and the front porch and deck areas are a plus. Many comfortable beds for a large family or two families if needed. The kitchen has everything for cooking. Supplies such as coffee, dish soap , and detergent were plentiful. Our only suggestion was for the owner to provide additional hand towels and wash cloths. We purchased wash cloths and left them to be laundered and included in the linens. Location is very good for access to park, restaurants, and downtown Chesterton shopping is easy walking distance. There are continual trains going through Chesterton, and their presence is known through the whistles, etc. We loved it, but the owners do supply masks and ear plugs for restful sleep IF you are a light sleeper. We had no issues with 3 adults and 2 children. The neighbor on the north side can play loud music, but again, it did not disturb us as it was only Friday night, and the chosen music was fine. We had smores one evening, which made the evening even greater. Definitely rent again..tv...wifi...all great.

Fantastic location. There is a Denny's Restaurant in the same parking lot as the hotel. A Dunkin Donut across the street. The hotel is just minutes away from a very nice Meijer and Walmart plus a bunch of other restaurants. It's also about 15 minutes from Lake Michigan.

I enjoyed being right next to the Indiana Dunes State Park and the Indiana Dunes National Park. We also drove approximately 20 miles to attend the LaPorte County 4-H Fair, and it was easy access from the connecting highways in Chesterton. It is a very quaint little town, with wonderful dining and entertainment options. We ate at Lucrezia's in downtown Chesterton, and I would absolutely give the establishment 5 stars! The food and service for superb, eating "al fresco" while enjoying time spent with friends was priceless. I would recommend to everyone!

All area hotels are very close to the Dunes National Park.

All area hotels are very close to the Dunes National Park. Each hotel is supported very well by private businesses providing quality meal selection and even grocery shopping. The people who are employed in this town's tourist industry are really customer focused. They understand the inherent values of satisfying, if not exceeding, customer expectations.

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and Indiana Dunes State...

Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore and Indiana Dunes State Park hiking trails have something for every skill/activity level. Cowles Bog trail is rigorous at times but well worth it for the experience & views. We enjoyed so many of the local, nearby restaurants. Gastro 49 & Suzie's Cafe were our favorites. The Old Lighthouse Museum is a fun stop with a lot of local history that is unexpected.

The apartment was very comfortable and clean and decorated very nicely. We played hard while in the area and the beds were very comfortable for our nightly rest. The shower was great! No need to wait for hot water and the water pressure was fantastic. Loved all the directions. It made getting into the apratment a breeze. Thanks so much for your hospitality. We had a great time!

I only went to one gas station (BP, I believe), one fast food place (Taco Bell), and one restaurant (Sunrise). The gas station was fine, Taco Bell was faster and nicer than most I've been to, but Sunrise was the real gem. Great service, WONDERFUL food, and decent prices. Would for sure go back :-)

The hotel is on a charming little lake and the balcony leans right over the water. In the morning we saw 3 different kinds of turtles as well as fish and birds. It was very beautiful and peaceful. At first I couldn’t believe this hotel was on a lake because we had just pulled off the highway with all kinds of traffic. What a pleasant surprise to see that our room really did look out onto a quiet little lake. I would stay here again!

Very nice hotel. Renovations were ongoing so common areas of the hotel were not shown to their best. Room was a good size and updated. Very comfortable. Bob Evans restaurant is right next door. Other restaurants were very close. Hotel located close to the highway. Breakfast was confusing. We weren’t sure what was included in our stay because you can pay extra for a full breakfast.

We loved everything about Riley's Railhouse. The Railhouse was so unique. I loved all the train decor. The breakfast was very good, varied, and amazing. The location was perfect for visiting Indiana Dunes National Park and there were lots of good restaurants and an ice cream shop in walkable range in Chesterton. Perfect location for the Park, restaurants, lovely, and great hosts!

The best feature for this hotel is the staff. They were exceptional and quite friendly. They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable . The hotel is located in a quiet place with ample parking. The parking can even accommodate some lighter tractor tailors. The facility is also close to a shopping area. It's about 20 minutes away from Indiana dunes park.

The room was very clean and spacious. The lake view from the balcony is beautiful. I can't believe how nice this hotel is at this price! We will be staying again if we come back to this area. There are so many restrictions really close and a big variety. Very close to Indiana Dunes!

The location is absolutely wonderful my family and I decided to have a long weekend at the Dunes of Indiana and the hotel was maybe 10 minutes from the park. The night staff was a younger gentleman who was quick with assisting issues and accommodating in room changes.

Hotel looks ok from outside but the room is quite small and everything is very basic and kinda dated. The carpet has lots of stains and looks dirty. I expected something better when you paying more than $200 for a night.
