This is an absolutely top-notch boutique hotel in a very nice little town nearby Villa Romana. We loved everything - the design of the hotel, every little detail that adds to its charm, very cozy and comfortable room with a modern bathroom. Wonderful little garden where you can hang around, delicious breakfast with all you need and a very friendly owner who picked us up where we parked the car (upon his instructions) and who knows the best restaurants and wine bars in town! It was truly amazing. Highly recommended!

The staff were absolutely wonderful! We were greeted by a lovely lady in reception who spoke fluent English (which is not easy to find in Sicily!) We we’re traveling with our dog and all the staff members made her feel so welcome 🥰
We stayed for 1 night and we opted to have dinner at the resort, the food was excellent and made with home grown vegetables, it was definitely worth the money.

Rita is a great host who goes out of her way to make her guests feel at home (even offering to pick us up after dinner in town, although we chose to walk). The pool and grounds are beautiful. Excellent breakfast in Rita's kitchen, including fresh jam with strawberries from her garden. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was great and a good location for what I I was doing. The room was very comfortable and unique. I had lots of choices close by for eating. Parking was a short distance away, and I opted to pay for the parking to ensure I could leave the car there for two days. Cost was negligible. Excellent room and very helpful host.

The Romana Casale was terrific.
The Romana Casale was terrific. Better than we might have imagined. It is slightly outside of the town.
The town was difficult to navigate--the narrowest streets we have experienced, and you must climb straight up to reach open restaurants, near as we can tell. It is likely different during high season, with more things open.

The city has a particular charm very different from the towns in the Val de Noto we visited and one has a much stronger sense of thousands (!) of years of continual living and history. Make sure to visit the Villa Romana del Casale, fantastic!

Incredible historical area.
Incredible historical area. So many ancient temples in one place with detailed information posted throughout the site. Take a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, and wear comfortable shoes. It is easy to get around though not always on even ground. Easy to park at either entrance, allow at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours. There is also a cafe on site.

Piazza Armerina, the incredible Roman villa and mosaics was a highlight of our 12 days in Sicily. and absolute 'must' but recommend that you see the INCREDIBLE mosaics at opening or near closing time so you are not hemmed in by busloads of people and explanations from Babylon. (I speak many languages, but not all at once!) The town itself was very nice as well. Cute terraces, little park, beautiful historic buildings and little cobblestone streets. Ample (paid, inexpensive) parking everywhere.
(Regarding the B&B: the 2nd 'B' is supposed to refer to 'breakfast'. There was absolutely nothing! Many places in Sicily had a Q-code or such so you could go and have breakfast somewhere. A cute idea if you're not one who needs that 1st coup of coffee at rising, but this should be noted in the description prior to payment!)

An evening spent in Piazza Armerina was really one of the most beautiful in Sicily! We enjoyed the pleasant town with the host of the accommodation. He has a excellent enoteca (wine shop) on the square next to the apartment, so we spent the evening in his wine shop tasting amazing local wine, olives and olive oil. The host took very good care of us. Despite the fact that we do not know Italian and he does not speak English, we understood each other very well and we had no problem with communication :-) We really recommend this place :-)
The owner was really kind and helpful throughout our stay providing taxi services personally to get us to and from the hotel including picking us from the station on our arrival .
The hotel itself was quite traditional. It also has amazing views of Piazza Armerina. The room clean and spacious. We didn’t realise it was an extra charge for a room it’s an AC but there was a fan in our room anyway. The room was cleaned daily at no extra charge so cleanliness was maintained.
Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast.

CHARMING! the most charming and creatively designed property we have stayed at it. it was matched only by the incredible graciousness of its owner. He not only met us to help us park our car, but carried our luggage to the property and up the stairs. He was also so helpful in recommending nearby restaurants and other information. The breakfast was amazing with so many delicious choices. it was a totally delightful stay and we cannot say enough great things about the owner and his property.
Il triclinio B&B has well equipped, large rooms and facilities in the modern part of town. The breakfast was excellent, the landlady was very friendly and helpful, and there is plenty of parking immediately outside the property - frequently a scarce resource in Sicily! I rated it better than my expectation because it appears to have been very recently refurbished and the rooms are immaculate. A relatively short drive to the Roman Villa.
Three reasons to visit Italy; the people, the food and the wine! This had all three. The owners were warm and friendly offering coffee and homemade sweets upon our arrival. A little difficult to find parking but when called they quickly arrived to help us. We had booked dinner for our stay and it was amazing, not only delicious and plentiful but made with love. Truly incredible.
The pool and gardens are idyllic, and the breakfast was the best I had in Sicily. Just not an overnight, you need to stay longer to let the peacefulness sink in. You can use it as a base for day trips, or just be lazy like me and enjoy a book and some wine by the pool. I only wish they served dinner, then I wouldn't ever have to leave!
Incredibly nice people. They were super-attentive and made every effort to make me feel comfortable. Amazing service. The rooms are brand new, and very big, with AC, TV and a great shower. All very clean. They gave me free bottles of water. Great location to explore the Roman villa del Casale, as well as Piazza Armerina. Free parking.
It was a lovely B&B in a very homey atmosphere a country home in a garden setting with a wonderful view of Piazza Armerina. The room was very comfortable. The host was very nice and very helpful, and the restaurant he recommended was great. The breakfast was very good. It was a wonderful experience.
Hotel is close to the city center (5 min walk). Hotel has a fantastic view towards the beach.
Breakfeast was good.
Parking at the hotel is a challange, entrance is quite small and steep. You have to leave the car keys at the reception, they will park your car.
This is a lovely country hotel within 30 min drive to the great mosaics of Villa Romana Casale. It was understated and homey. We also had dinner which was delicious. The grounds are nice including an outdoor pool (was closed due to it being winter).
Very kind host. Easy street parking. Comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast including yogurt, local cheese, homemade tart, and special gluten free options at my request. We were able to walk to a local pizzeria for dinner.
Location, comfort, staff, breakfast. all were excellent and the staff went out of their way to make sure we could get dinner at a nearby restaurant during a festival weekend on a Sunday!
One of the best stays we had in Sicily. Lovely and quiet place. Our daughter loved the animals there (2 dogs, horses, chicken and donkeys). Delicious breakfast and a very friendly host!
Clean, centrally located, good value room in Piazza Armerina. Great shower and use of a kitchen/fridge. Breakfast was in a cafe nearby - coffee and croissant with the locals. .
This was the best stay we had in Sicily. Happy and attentive staff, authentic decor, super tasty and local food and a brilliant stay. This place will stay in our memories forever
A 5 minute walk to all sights in Piazza Armerina. Our host was responsive and kind. Must have a cannolo at Pasticceria Restiva. Will definitely stay here again if we come back.
Our hosts were very welcoming, provided a lovely breakfast, the room was large, clean & quiet. It was easy to park outside and close to the historic centre of Piazza Armerina.
Great location near Villa Romana del Casale and Piazza armerina. Great food, very relaxing place full of history, and very friendly staff and owner. Thank you.
