Very nice and cozy. The apartment has a view of the lake and the host is very nice and welcoming. She will answer any of your questions and help if needed. She even recommended us to go to a party in the town which ended up being one of our best memories from the trip.

Great location, close by Varenna in a nice and quiet village. David is a great guy, really friendly and thinks with us in solutions. We took our own scooter with us and he maked a place in the parking where it could stand. The apartment is everything you need, we had a great time!

This apartment was beautiful! The thoughtfulness in everything didn’t go unnoticed. The warm lighting, comfortable bed, stunning windows with view, the spaciousness, the easy check in, the homey feel ~ it was perfect. We loved it!
It was close to walk to the ferry and visit Bellagio, Menaggio and Varenna, and the streets felt quaint and quiet compared to the busier towns, which was nice to enjoy. We loved the restaurant Il Crotto, and the little grocer Il Buon Gusto!

Nice apartment with plenty of space. Great view to the Como lake from the balcony. The apartment is completely equipped with kitchen utensils. The host surprised us with breakfast snacks, candy and beverage in the fridge.
Location is great, you just need to walk to Lierna central square (~10 min, but unfortunately no really pedestrian passage) where you will get on ferry or train to travel across Como lake easily without a car (underground parking is in)

I recently stayed at this apartment and was thoroughly impressed. The place is even more beautiful in person, with a truly astonishing view. Public transport is easily accessible from the location, making commuting a breeze. The apartment was clean and surprisingly more spacious than the photos indicated. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great stay!

Wonderful area of the lake that has a less touristic feel and is less busy than the other areas we visited. Many places to swim, including a larger “beach” with bar that serves takeaway drinks to enjoy near the water. Local cafes and restaurants and easy train and ferry access to other parts of the lake. Lierna itself was more authentic & less touristic than other towns around the lake but was a perfect spot for day trips by ferry around the lake - or a quick 10 minute drive up the road to Varenna. There was a good little supermarket in the village - with a friendly lady who spoke English - though the big Iperal supermarket at Mandello was only 10 minutes drive away. There were a number of restaurants in town & we had a great meal at Sottovento which was clearly very popular with the locals.

Lierna is beautiful.
Lierna is beautiful. There isn't much going on - there are a few excellent places to eat, a bar or two and a beautiful beach affording one of the best views on Lake Como - but it is simply stunning, especially in the spring/early summer sunshine, and a few days here can't fail to relax you!

There is a minimarket in the next house. It was convenient to reach the train station and the ferry from the apartment on foot. We really liked Lierna, which is not so touristic but lovely to walk around and convenient to stay and visit other places around Lake Como. Marisa was very caring, picked us up from the train station and took us to a late dinner. She borrowed us an umbrella which helped us a lot. Thank you very much!RamuneLithuania

Wonderful room, excellent food and even better quality of service which I feel was second to nothing I have ever experienced before. My partner is gluten intolerant and the hosts went out of their way to facilitate and cook dishes which enabled her to receive the same quality of homemade cooking as others receive. This is a studio that has everything you need for a short or long stay and the view from your balcony will be just amazing. The hostess Maurizia is friendly and always ready to help with advice. And most importantly, Lake Como is a few steps from the apartment, and the town of Lierna is a great place for a relaxing holiday, while just one ferry stop from Bellagio. The location is beautiful: a quiet part of the lake with direct access to the water from the jetty. It’s a short walk along the road (which didn’t bother us noise wise) to Lierna which is a small town. We hire a boat from here. 10 minute drive south to a good supermarket and 10 minute drive north to beautiful town of Varenna and ferry to Bellagio.
