    The service was very good.

The service was very good. The reception and dining staff were amazing. Super friendly. Dinner had good options and was delicious. Breakfast is fairly standard inclusive continental. Location was 100/10 far more scenic than I expected. Right underneath a mountain and only a 15 min drive from guided tour meeting points and glaciers

Hof, like many places in Iceland, is not really a town but a cluster of houses at the base of a mountain; there are no restaurants or services other than the hotel. It is a convenient place to stay when visiting Skaftafell National Park.

Adventure Hotel Hof is a comfortable, clean, modest hotel. Staff and friendly and helpful, and the meals are good. Adventure Hotel Hof is well suited for the budget conscious traveller. The setting is beautiful, but the town of Hof is very very small. Blink, and you’ll miss it!

Hof seemed to be a small city, perfectly located if you are renting a car to see the area, we came from Vik, and we drove all over the Jökulsárlón and returned on the evening to the hotel. as every village in Iceland, you need to pay attention to the exit, but google map was able to find it and we didn't have any problems. We booked the 2 double room, assuming we needed to share the bathroom, little did we know that the two rooms are part of a cottage and it was like a big 2 bedroom house rather than 2 double room. Breakfast was amazing, and I suppose in aurora season, you can look up and see the northern like, but even if there is no season, waking up to the nature was mind blowing. it was perfect for us, 4 friends who did the ring road in 9 days!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous villa. The pictures do not do it justice. The villa has just such a wonderful vibe. Location, location, location. The views are spectacular. The architecture of the villa is amazing. Wall to wall, floor to ceiling windows. Super clean. Villa was comfortable and warm. Fully equipped kitchen and two bathrooms. Washer and dryer available. Comfortable beds. Dining table was huge. Hot Tub! Convenient location between sites in south Iceland. Great communication with host. We were a family of 6.

Such a lovely hotel. We really expected a cheap hotel from the reviews, but can honesty say this hotel is lovely. Brilliant location (we chose it for proximity to our tour start location). The food is delicious and normal pricing for Iceland. Breakfast was good too and they catered for gluten free with ease. The rooms were comfortable and the shower was very good. The room had beautiful views too with huge windows that opened fully.

Staying in our cottage on the Litla-Hof property was breathtaking. We had three bedrooms and a common area; the common area (couches, table for 4, and kitchen) were amazing in the morning--I would come out of our bedroom to the bright light coming in from two directions, one a plain that had horses and beautiful skies and the other an Icelandic green hill with a waterfall and sheep. Incredible. The whole family loved it.

The location is great: near the glacier, but the building itself is nestled near the mountain so we didn't hear howling winds. We booked family room for just the 2 of us to have a comfort of more space. Our room was downstairs so we also didn't have to deal with the noise in the rooms above. We read previous reviews and they helped us to make a decision to book a family room.

They kindly upgraded our room and welcomed us for the late check in. We had a such good sleep as the room was so cozy and quiet. Breakfast was on point, everything was covid safe. Diamond beach is less than an hour from this hotel depending on the road condition. Glacier tour is very close to this hotel, so it was perfect location for our Iceland trip :)

Hotel very close to glacier lagoon. Easy check in, everything worked perfect, internet and electricity was available all the time despite the storm that kept us locked up for 2 1/2 days in the property as all roads on southeast were closed. Solrún arranged extra accomodations and meals during storm, she took great care of every guest. Thanks.

We chose to stay here because it was the only thing available for our date that made sense location-wise. Didn't have high expectations going in after reading the reviews. Overall I'd say the room was decent, but the bathroom was way too small and had a strong weird odor. Breakfast was good and the Front Desk staff was nice though.

Cozy hotel that also serves delicious dinner. Staff are very friendly and the hotel is a very good option to stay in this sparsely populated part of Iceland. It is very convenient to excursions to the glacier or to Svartifoss or Jokulsarlon from here, with only a few minutes driving.

We enjoyed our short one-night stay at Litla-Hof. Clearly it is a place better suited for longer stays and for exploring the area. The views are great, the rooms cozy and the kitchen/bathroom well equiped. I would definitely stay there again. Cleanliness was ok.

This is a truly unique way to experience the beauty of Iceland and specifically the Fjallsarlon lagoon. Our guide took us on a private tour of the lagoon on our way to the Aurora Hut. We celebrated our wedding anniversary with champagne and a spectacular view.
