Warm and comfortable hotel in a remote location. The room was nice but basic, although we were very satisfied. The view of the countryside was lovely. The restaurant was great, both in terms of food and view, and the staff were very nice. We walked for the hotel to the Gullfoss (about 7km round trip), and this was a highlight.

Fantastic experience!! Couldn’t recommend it more.
It was a pleasure to stay here for the night. So relaxing being out in nature but still with all the comforts of a hotel. Lovely breakfast the next morning as well. The separate shower block, that is communal, is very clean.

The yurt is incredibly warm, spacious, and comfortable. There is a toilet and sink in the room. It was nice the breakfast is included especially for a reasonably priced hotel (for Iceland standards.) Because it is a boutique location there were limited amounts of other guests which made our stay very peaceful. We went out at night to admire the stars and even caught an aurora. Staff are very kind. Location prime between Geysir and Gulfoss.HannaUnited States

It was very spacious and furnished beautifully, functional and it was very clean. The weather was very cold and windy but inside it was very cozy due to the heated floors! It’s very close to the Geysir area so this worked out well for us. Breakfast was wonderful as well. Lots of choices in the breakfast yurt. We could not have ask for anything more. Highly recommend this different ‘hotel’ stay!!!

The best part of this hotel is its location, which is very close to several must-see spots in this area of Iceland. I was also very lucky because, being in a rural area, I could see the Northern Lights from the hotel. Another strength of the hostel is its staff. They are very friendly and welcoming.
