The host was warm and informative.

The host was warm and informative. The host told us a lot about his history and culture. He was very proud of his village. We really enjoyed talking with him and walking around. We even got special permission to visit the neighborhood mosque (women generally aren't allowed). It is easy to miss the place the first drive by but you find it quickly enough. We rented what turned out to be basically a small 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house, part of what I would consider a duplex. A Bedouin family lived (I believe) on the other side. Plenty of warm water and loads of space. Breakfast was great and I would urge you to let them cook you dinner as well. Yummy! They were busy with guests leaving and coming but welcoming to all. We only stayed a night as we were traveling from Eilat to Jerusalem and that was perfect for us. Other guests were using it as a base for touring -- the price is really reasonable for that even if other sights are somewhat of a drive. Highly recommend.
