Excellent hosts and staff, just lovely in every capacity.
Great facilities with a lovely sea-view porch just down the path.
Comfy rooms that were just right in terms of size.
The elegant stone buildings of The Dixcart Hotel offer accommodation on the island of Sark. Just beyond the paths leads through woodland, along coastal cliffs and down to sheltered bays.

The peace and tranquillity was wonderful, freedom from light and noise pollution amazing. The beaches were difficult to access for someone not familiar with the routes to them, and signposting could have been better.

Sark is a unique, gorgeous place with a warm, community feel about it. As there are no motorised vehicles except the tractors, it is like no other place we have been to and to say we feel refreshed and rejuvenated is an understatement. It is the ideal place for walking and seeing the beautiful scenery from every aspect of this picturesque island. Take good walking shoes and enjoy. We left Sark and felt as though we were leaving home and family.

Lovely quiet unspoilt island.
Lovely quiet unspoilt island. A handful of wonderful eating places and great places to walk and relax. Beautiful scenery and a step back in time.
Cycle hire available everywhere and some water activities if the weather permits. In wet weather there is not so much to do - sadly no longer a museum but a very interesting exhibition at the Island Hall about German occupation during the 2nd World War.

Sark is a delightful throw-back to quieter times.
Sark is a delightful throw-back to quieter times. No cars, only tractors and bicycles to avoid so generally very peaceful.
Plenty of walking to do and some of the views across the sea are delightful.
Plenty of places to stay.
Plenty of places to eat, though perhaps more expensive than anticipated.
Hiring a bicycle is recommended to help get around more of the island - especially if your stay is a short one.
Good for a weekend break or simliar.

Sark is a magical island and boasts one of the few 'Dark Skies' in the UK. Much of it feels as though there has been little change in the past centuries however it has embraced some aspects of modern culture and wifi is available now! There are no cars, so be prepared to walk, climb and ride and embrace the freedom of a traffic-free island.

Sark is an Island that is rugged and not for the faint at heart. Breathtaking views but access to the beach is often precarious and requires balance and physical strength. Be also ware of the amount of dust due to unpaved roads. I’m glad I went to Sark and had the opportunity to experience the island; however this is a place that I will never go back to.
Amazing views in a beautiful setting. Going to sark as a family is entering an Enid blyton book. Sark has fab beaches lots of interesting history and paths all over the place to beaches, caves and lookouts.
Staying in this lovely b and b with a great swimming pool, trampoline and Chocolate shop on site was fab and an added bonus.
We only hired bikes for one day but I'd hire for all days you are there as it's a 10 minute walk to town.
Location was stunning, accommodation was superb, clean, bright, spacious with the best views you could wish for. Good self serve breakfast and basket of fruit wit local Sark milk straight from the dairy! I would not hesitate to recommend this absolutely beautiful place to anyone, and have already raved about it to family and friends!!
Friendly hosts, that actually upgraded me to the adjacent Old Forge B&B. I had an ensuite room with a bath, a delight to use after cycling and walking adventures. Continental breakfast to help yourself in the morning. Access to tea and coffee throughout my stay. Great location near La Coupee, perfect for exploring Little Sark.
We love the location the house was gorgeous and had use of the swimming pool which was perfect albeit a little cold!! we would definitely recommend and stay there again...beautiful place with beautiful views
Breakfast was fantastic. Sark is so beautiful. The staff were all friendly and polite. The food was delicious. The room was comfortable and clean. Not a fault to find.
