We loved everything - Penny and David were wonderful hosts and the B&B is gorgeous. Beautiful views from every angle, ample parking and a perfectly cooked breakfast each morning. We would often get back after a day out to a fresh pot of tea and delicious homemade cakes.
We stayed as a family exploring the Forest of Dean. The location was perfect with direct access to the A48. We were able to store our bikes in the barn while we weren't using them which was an added bonus.
Beds were super comfortable and we had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely stay again in the future!

We were attending a friends wedding who lives in Newnham and wanted somewhere close to stay. This b and b was perfect.
Tony’s communication prior to our stay was brilliant and he was very accommodating in allowing us to check in early so the bride could come and get ready in the room.
The room was very clean and tidy, a fabulous size with lovely homely touches and a beautiful view.
Breakfast was lovely and very organised.
Nothing was too much trouble and we felt very welcomed.
Thank you for being wonderful hosts.

Very nice room, clean and comfortable with everything I needed. The WiFi worked, perhaps not a strong a signal as I would have liked. The bar area functioned well, I did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food.

Location was nice and quiet. Pub and food was good and very tasty.
The town is an architectural delight and the whole character...
The town is an architectural delight and the whole character of the area struck me as having a less commercialised atmosphere or purpose than the much visited Cotswolds just across the Severn. I should certainly welcome the opportunity to explore the hinterland at a leisurely pace.
