Quite simply one of the best overnight stays I have ever had. My Mum is 80 and is unable to use stairs or walk any great distance. The little bungalow type building that Chris (the owner) has had built in her gorgeous garden is set up for people with mobility problems. What did we love? Well everything! The standard of cleanliness is exceptional, the décor is stunning, the gardens are so pretty, the outside area is so well kept. The food was great (both evening meal and breakfast) Honestly you can see why they have won awards for all aspects of the business. We both slept soundly in the quiet and in bed linen that smelt fresh and clean. Mum was able to shower in the Wet Room. Wonderful! Chris is an amazing individual and should be so proud of what she has done to make her home so welcoming to her guests. Thanks to Jane the chef, the food was fresh, and tasted delicious! I stayed here with my daughter for 3 nights so having the sofa bed in the lounge was a real bonus so we could each have our own space at night. There was plenty of space in general and the whole annex was immaculate and just really lovely. The kitchen had everything we needed to self cater over the long weekend and the little outside seating area was a lovely addition. The hosts gave really clear instructions for checking in and were kind enough to communicate with us a few times over the weekend to make sure we were ok and had everything we needed.
