In our past, caves were more than mere shelters; they were sanctuaries of warmth, peace, and culture. Today, Cave Hotel embodies this essence, offering an escape that transcends the ordinary.

I recently took my boyfriend to the Cave Hotel for his birthday, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the unique architecture and serene surroundings of the hotel. We stayed in one of the luxury suites, which was beautifully designed with modern amenities and a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The room was spacious, the bed extremely comfortable, and the view from our private balcony was simply breathtaking. The staff at the Cave Hotel went above and beyond to make my boyfriend's birthday special. Upon arrival, we were greeted with chocolates in the room . One of the highlights for us was the golf course. As avid golfers, we found it to be well-maintained and challenging enough to keep us engaged. The spa was equally impressive, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience with a variety of treatments and amenities.

Staff were friendly and helpful, lots of lovely history, and the location was excellent. Just far enough out of town to be comfortable and not have to worry about parking.

Everything, it was so unique and a wonderful place to stay. Staff on reception and housekeeping were wonderful, I’d messed my dates up and they managed to rearrange things for me.

A lovely village with great pubs to have dinner in (we had an excellent dinner at the Red Lion) or stop just for a drink if you are exploring the beautiful surrounding country side cycling or walking. Don't miss a visit to Mount Ephraim Gardens (You could stay in one of their beautiful rooms and enjoy a lovely breakfast after a truly peaceful night's sleep). If you feel like hiding from everything go hiking in ancient Blean Forest, that takes you right back into medieval times and fairy tale territory. Or else just walk along the many orchards and snack on fallen apples and pears that are aplenty in autumn. This is the Kent of folklore and Hernhill is perfectly situated to explore this lovely area.

The room was lovely and spotlessly clean.
The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was a little on the cold side at night. The breakfast was good and the service was friendly - however after we left we noticed that we had left something behind. We left a message on the answerphone (the only option) and to date we have not received any answer...
