This place is very special - it has a refined but laidback atmosphere that instantly makes you feel welcome and relaxed. The property is incredibly beautiful and every detail has been considered with the upmost care and attention. Everything in the rooms is very high quality and designed impeccably, our suite was very spacious, with a huge terrace and lots of different areas to sit and relax in private - bliss. There are two pools and lots of different places to relax, as well as lush gardens and sculptures from exhibiting artists to be enjoyed. The food served from breakfast through to lunch and dinner is all worthy of it’s own review - declious flavours, imaginative dishes and the freshest locally sourced ingredients. St Paul is a beautiful hilltop medieval town 20 minutes from Nice airport. You do need a car to get here, although obviously buses are available. I would say it is a great location for a short to medium stay – four days was perfect! If you do end up going here book a table at the colombe D’or restaurant – it is one of my favourite places in the world, but be warned and book as soon as you can, as you will not get a table if you just turn up! I have been here several times before, and so booked it about 10 weeks before I left London! This may not be the case in the winter of course! Ignore the TripAdvisor reviews – I think I must’ve gone to completely different restaurant😂. The service is fantastic, the waiters do speak English and in my opinion, the food is not overpriced although of course it is expensive as everything is in the south of France in fairly touristy places, which St Paul is! I live in London, so frankly anywhere is cheap by comparison! Do go to this restaurant famous for its paintings given by artists. After lunch have a good mooch around the pretty streets - you will find many sweet shops selling very expensive biscuits and sweets but the owners are very happy for you to look😊

Our host was welcoming and friendly, with excellent Engllish and happy to advise on local cultural attractions and restaurants. She surprised us with a delicious and beautifully decorated heart-shaped strawberry shortcake when she found that we were celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary.

The host told so many lies about my stay. She knew I didn’t have a car and I asked for only one trip to buy my groceries but she didn’t want this. There weren’t any taxis and that’s why the local took me home.I did notify the host.My plane was late which I explained to her. This is so wrong she gives this explanation.

Really lovely place to visit but you only need two to three days there to see everything. Lovely art galleries and shops. The best place to eat was Le Tilleul run by Maxine and his team. Fabulous food and really great service ! Avoid the Colomb D'Or restaurant - overpriced and very basic food. A basket of raw unpeeled vegetables in a basket with a tiny tiny bowl of pate for €40 ! Go and see Atelier Tanagra - lovely artwork, and her recommendation for the Craquelin from Patisserie Palanque in nearby Vence has to be followed.

St Paul is a beautiful historic village, full of art galleries & quirky shops selling lovely local produce. It's an ideal place to spend a day just wandering the cobbled streets & relaxing with a cold drink to admire the views of the countryside. Non slip shoes are a must as the narrow streets can be slippery.

We stayed nearby but visited the town every day or evening.

We stayed nearby but visited the town every day or evening. A charming place with extraordinary views. Several good restaurants. cosy atmosphere with folks playing boules at the Place de General de Gaulle. Walking around was easy, however I recommend good walking shoes (the pavements were centuries old and naturally uneven)

This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of St Paul de Vence, a hilltop medieval city in Provence with a view of the sea. The rooms are decorated in 18th century style and are absolutely lovely. The beds are very comfortable and the linens are nice. The staff are exceptional; they are thoughtful and generous. We are an older couple, and they went out of their way to help us with our bags and parking. They also gave us an exceptional room upgrade. We highly recommend this hotel. It is a perfect place to stay.

Everything was exceptional. Their high quality services exceeded our expectations. Free access to facilities like the spa, the outside pools and lagoon or the staff members attention made our stay magical. The room was impeccable, special mention to the evening cleaning room service. Moreover, breakfast is various and tasty. The whole property is so beautiful, we fell in love with it then we ended up adding one more night to our stay in order to visit Saint-Paul de Vence village. It was a must !

This lovely hotel is located in the village of Saint-Paul-de-Vence and blends into the surrounding landscape. living room, bedroom, kitchen and washroom bathroom was spacious and I was able to spend it slowly. In addition, wine and other beverages and cheese、ham in the refrigerator It was a free and thoughtful service. Thank you for Luc's bright and kind response. Traveling to the parking lot by car will require a small car or good driving skills as it passes through fairly tight space.

Joel and the team at the hotel are exceptional. Very attentive and friendly. We also loved the pool, the location and especially the breakfast! Buffet style but plentiful and very fresh every morning. The service overall made our stay extremely pleasant and we were able to visit Antibes, Cannes, Saint Paul de Vence and Monaco easily from this hotel. Parking was easy on site also. Supermarkets and restaurants are within a few minutes drive.

Excellent location in the old village. Very friendly host. La Saint-Pauloise has only two rooms. On the ground floor there is a shared kitchen, a sitting area and a terrace with a wonderful view. There is free coffee and tea in the kitchen. There is also butter and jam in the fridge, so we only had to buy bread at the bakery (2 min walk) in the morning. Nicely decorated and well kept place.

This traditional French hotel has an interior, quiet charm and elegance, and is surrounded by a pool and lovely gardens. I was warmly welcomed by Virginia and made to feel very special. Quiet at night, close to the medieval walls of Saint Paul de Vence, spotlessly clean and comfortable, it is a delightful property for single travellers and couples. I enjoyed it so much I stayed there twice.

The property is absolutely beautiful on the heart of Saint Paul de Vence. We loved the shared space and the small number of rooms (we never saw any other guests). Our room was beautiful with a full shower and stand alone tub. Walking distance to everything and an amazing AC which was necessary in July. There was a coffee maker in the common area for breakfast. Very quiet and peaceful.

We loved St Paul du Vence, a lively medieval village. This hotel was an easy stroll to the village for these two active seniors. It was peaceful, and a relaxing afternoon at the pool was perfect. The pool is large enough for laps which is hard to find. Ann is American which was helpful since this was the start of our trip. We had many questions!
