It’s a pretty little village with one hotel, 2 high end restaurants and a patisserie. There is nothing else. It’s handy for visiting Pegasus bridge but the busses stop running at about 9am and don’t return till about 5

A nice small town made famous by the taking of the Benouville Bridge by the British Airborne glider section in WW2 (renamed Pegasus Bridge for the badge of the regiment). Excellent museum and visit the local cemetery as many WW2 British soldiers who were KIA rest there.IanAustralia

On arrival the young lady on reception/bar and restaurant, was very helpful. She showed me the room , it was such a lovely room , spacious, luxurious and full of character. Would highly recommend it for its location , staff politeness and willingness to please , nothing seemed to be a problem ....☆☆☆☆☆

It is a clean and attractive hotel and the room was pleasant. The restaurant looked appealing with a good menu but I was too cold, tired and wet when I arrived on a night of torrential rain to eat. I left too early to have breakfast. They had their own off-road parking.
