This has to be the epitome of glamming . The boardwalk to the tents was a pleasant walk with a teaser of the views to be had from the deck of the unit.
Bed was amazingly comfortable, it was all done a flair and style.
After waiting 4 years for the experience, it was more than worth it!
Sunsets were amazing from the decks and the boardwalk.
I was impressed with the renovations and modernization of the resorts original cabins.
Adding two brand new hot tubs was a great idea.
The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Stayed here with friends to run a trail race that was only 6 mins away by car so location was perfect for us. Unit was spacious, beds were comfortable, bathroom large and shower was perfect. The owner, Lisette was so pleasant and accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed...even apples in the fridge which were delicious and freshly ground coffee from Colombia. We didn't stay long enough to enjoy the porch and beautiful view. Definitely would love to return here if we come back to Sechelt.

There's really nothing to not like about Sechelt, it's a magical place. There only down fall is that restaraunts and such do close pretty easy, so I'd recommend if you're a late snacker like myself hit up the local grocery store.
Lots of great views. Things to see, and awesome duck marsh especially for little one, go to the mall buy a bag of bird seed for $2 can (bread is bad for wildlife) and you can have a ton of fun, the beaches and the list goes on. Highly recommend.

Sechelt is a charming little town.
Sechelt is a charming little town. It has lots of great little shops and pretty streets. It is easy to get around in, and has all of the most important banks, a canadian tire nearby, plenty of restaurants, and it is on higher ground for safety sake.

Sechelt is a cozy, and surprisingly progressive little town.
Sechelt is a cozy, and surprisingly progressive little town. There were pride flags in many of the stores as well as cafes & restaurants that seemed like they were plucked out of Montreal. It's a great place to hang out in, after spending the day hiking forest trails or lounging on the beach!

DO NOT STAY HERE….
DO NOT STAY HERE….Dirty sheets on bed, flies in room and cobwebs. When you complain to the hotel they tell you, “you can not complain that the room is dirty, you have used the room and made it dirty.” That was in 5 minutes of being in the room…..I can’t imagine being told this. Totally unacceptable! Picture is of brown spot on sheets when bed was opened up, gross!!!
The location is just outside the downtown core of Sechelt. We even had a view of the ocean from our backyard. The kitchen was perfect for making snacks and a small meal, and the host was very attentive and kind. We asked for a blow-up mattress as our two children did not want to share a bed, within minutes we had a blow-up mattress and bedding. A perfect guest suite for a couple or family of 4.
Stephanie and Jeff were very welcoming hosts. Gone Coastal was a great location for our quick trip up the Sunshine Coast. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped for all our needs. BBQ and outdoor lounging area was nice bonus feature. Great location in Sechelt with easy access to all parts of the Sunshine Coast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxed getaway.
We stayed here in the middle of a two week trip from top to bottom of the Sunshine Coast. It was wonderful to have a full apartment to do laundry and eat “at home” after being on the road. Our days here were perfect. Relaxing and easy in this lovely space. Sechelt has lots of great things to do but we loved not being too busy here and having a cozy place to spend down time.
Tuwanek hotel is located in a calm area with direct access to the beach and mountains views. The bedrooms were amazing, we had access to paddle boards, kayaks , a hot tube outside and a steam room. There are hikes nearby the hotel and Sechelt is just a 10/15 drive. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious. We are definitely planning to return :)
On the beach. The inside was more like modern hotel standard, not your typical motel. Couldn't tell judging from the outside, which could use some upgrades, but was pleasantly surprised. Staff was super sweet, polite, and very accommodating. Got checked in early, which I was extremely grateful for after long days of traveling/adventures.
The location is awesome! We toured around Sechelt and looked at all other options and realized that Bella Beach is the best place to be. It is walking distance from a great restaurant but the best part is that it is right on the water and across the street from the pier! We loved it!! Our new favourite place for a staycation!!!
Was provided with door code along with a very detailed in orientating to accommodations; including a video tour which was amazing. It was raining out and was met at the top of the driveway with a welcoming smile and positive interaction.
Extremely peaceful and quiet during my time there. Highly reccommend
There was nothing not to like ..everything was as close to perfect as is possible...beginning with my first phone call to the front desk and ending at check out process. There is no need to look anywhere else for accomodation if you are planning a trip to Sechelt.
Beautiful home, spacious. clean.
Welcome gift of wine, chocolates, eggs, bread, cream, and fruit and butter - wonderful treal!
5 min drive to anything in Sechelt.
Gardens were amazing, outdoor patio so cozy!
Beautifully appointed apartment with super balcony with views of Sechelt Inlet through the trees and access to the waterfront right below. Don’t miss Sandy Hook Park beach 5 minutes walk away.
