Situated in a very quiet neighborhood, this place is just perfect for relaxing, but still is minutes away from the animated street of Anton Valley. The big patio and hammock overlooking the large garden were perfect for relaxing. Big, beautiful garden with many birds. The hot spring pool was huge and pretty and the temperature was perfect day and night. The house was sparkling clean. The bed and linens were clean and very comfortable. Owners were super friendly and helpful and were always instantly responsive over phone!

The accommodation and the host were great. The house is in a quiet area, but it is very close to the city, restaurants and shopping. The place is in a good position for treks around the area. Breakfast is also included in the price, which was great. I highly recommend.

The owner of the place is super friendly and helpful. He let me use the bike, which made moving around the town much easier. Also, he took me to the bus stop to help catch the last bus for the day. The place was basic, but very clean. It's located very close to La India Dormida Trail.

The location was absolutely amazing. It was out of the town, so very quiet. The view was absolutely spectacular. We had high expectations and they were exceeded! I have stayed and worked in many locations in Central America, and I can honestly say that this place ranks high. The grounds and landscaping were gorgeous. The quiet, remote location was just to our liking, and the birding was great. Our hostess was tremendously helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed! We are avid birders, and racked up a good list right on the property and road, and greatly enjoyed the morning performance at the fruit feeders. In addition to birds, we saw several species of frogs and lizards, a porcupine, a possum, squirrels, and some really interesting insects. We wished we had three weeks instead of three days!

Location was excellent, with comfortable beds and all the required amenities in good working order. Perfect for our 3 night stay. It’s a 5 min walk to a good size supermarket, 15 mins to the main ‘downtown’ Avenida with restaurants and the mercado. 3 amazing hikes to the top of the ancient caldera, and the butterfly farm is a must see. We were able to park our car inside their gate, and the home is a 15 min walk to access one of the 3 primary hikes in the area, India Dormida. Jose and his partner, Liz, are wonderful hosts, and made us feel like family. The breakfast is simple and filling, and we could use their fridge and also made a meal or two using the kitchen facilities. Jose and Liz are gracious hosts and Jose is very witty. They made our time there a truly fun and memorable experience. Communication was excellent, in English and Spanish, despite my spouse and I having very limited Spanish language skills. Local knowledge, tips, and recommendations on things to do in the area were great and super appreciated. Finally, Jose joined us on one of our hikes and he made it super fun and interesting with his knowledge of local flora and fauna. The accommodation was very clean, and the staff were amazing. We used Google translate thr entire time and got on well. The location in walkable from downtown & places of interest. Otherwise taxis are UISD2 per ride. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!

We were welcomed by the kindest hosts we ever met, Ayled and Gilberto are very friendly and helped us a lot. The view from the house is phenomenal (overlooking the valley). It is peaceful and quiet. The room was amazing, especially the view. We could also use the well equipped kitchen to prepare food which helped a lot. The tap water (drinkable, filtered) comes from the mountain and tastes great.

The location was lit 2 minutes walking from the india dormida. The pool was everything
