The first thing that happened upon arrival and check-in was that I found out about a classical concert that was beginning shortly and the hostess was kind enough to give me ride along with her family to the event. The room was perfect for a solo traveler. The location was excellent, with hiking trails, several restaurants, and a bar open late nearby. Breakfast was outstanding. The feel of the place couldn't be much more cozy. The hostess and her family were delightful. Will be back!

Really nice place, worth the extra money compared to other places if you have the budget. Great kitchen, living room with sofas, several work/dining areas, and outdoor space. It's new but seems to be constructed with solid, quality materials, so I expect that it will age well. The bunks are super solid, and the mattresses are extremely comfortable. I really liked the decor and ambiance.

I needed a place to stay last minute, and this was one of the only places I could find. I really lucked out. This is a family run spot and from the minute I got there, I was treated like a member of the family. If you want all the stuff that goes along with a big hotel, maybe this isn't your spot. But, if you want a very comfortable cabana and the chance to meet and interact with a very nice local family while taking in amazing mountain views, then this is for you. As a solo traveler I highly recommend it, for the experience and interaction.
