We were given a better room than we'd booked; the larger double with an ensuite. The room was great, comfy beds and air con! We could park our car on the driveway. Downstairs there is a kitchen/dining room you can chill out in and cook meals. The host family are very friendly and live in the house next door so they're always on hand if you need something, but you also have plenty of space. It's just a 5 minute walk to the town centre and the church, but it's in a very quiet residential area. We loved the place so much we extended our stay by another night.

Andranik and his family were perfect hosts, very welcoming, friendly, kind and hospitable. I stayed at the Guest House for nearly 2 weeks, and felt like a family member during my stay. During one evening meal, I was treated to a piano concert from both Andranik and his wife. That doesn't happen very often. Thank you. It's is truly a family run guest house as Andranik's parents were equally welcoming, and we spent time discussing our respective countries, family, food and culture. The bedroom and ensuite bathroom were spacious and spotless, as was the shared kitchen and living area. The kitchen was fully equipped. There is a shared balcony accessible from the kitchen (besides a private bedroom balcony), which is a sun trap in the afternoon. The guest house is within walking distance to all the local sightseeing attractions. I have very fond memories of Armenia, and Najaryan's Family Guest House is one of the main reasons why. Exceptional, and highly recommended.
