Located just 10 km from Sardinia International Fair, Avion B&B offers accommodation in Cagliari with access to a garden, a terrace, as well as full-day security. Breakfast was typical Continental style but with plenty choice. As I had an early start on my second stay, it was delivered into my room the prior evening. Location wise the accommodation is relatively close too the airport, however I would recommend utilising the offered shuttle, as the shortest connecting roads (see Google Maps) are unpaved and travelling on them on foot should only be considered in daylight and only with light luggage ie. backpack. As I was feeling adventurous, I chose to walk the route and it took around 20 minutes but on reflection, I would not recommend it, either at night (as it is unlighted) or during wet weather. In all other respects, the accommodation lived up to my expectations and the hosts were very friendly, accommodating and helpful.

Situated in Elmas in the Sardinia region, Casa Ilaria has a balcony. Location is very near to the airport. 5 mins drive by taxi, cost 20 Euro. Host is wonderful. As we were reaching late at night, they arranged little food and water. It was really kind of them. The host's father was mainly looking at the property and the guests. He is very kind and super helpful. Apartment is new and very clean. We stayed here two nights - first when we came to Cagliari late at night and the second before we leave Cagliari very early in the morning. ParkingGo parking and car hiring is very close to this property. 5 mins walks. Host's father gave us a lift on his Caravan to the parking Go.
