This is a wonderful nearly new property with super attentive and helpful staff. The room was large and nicely appointed, with a small terrace overlooking the town. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was AMAZING ! The chef is Colombian and the menu is an interesting fusion of flavors rather than just typical Italian fare. The masseuse at the spa was excellent (even with a last minute reservation) and the spa / pool was very relaxing. There is not much to do in Stia (although the Wool Museum was quite interesting) but it was a cool base for a few relaxing days and very convenient to Florence.

Greta and Filippo were just amazing. Room was very comfortable and clean. All interiors claim very good feeling for details and country style.

Surrounded by the unspoilt nature of the Casentino Forests, Hotel Da Giovanna is in Chiusi della Verna centre. Fausto was so friendly. He drove up to Santuario della Verna to collect me. Plus the room was nice and the restaurant served great food.
