For me, Colonia is a one-night stay, or two nights maximum, if you are staying in a nice hotel with amenities or if you are planning on visiting a winery or taking a day trip from Colonia. The historical center is the only thing worth visiting, and you can probably walk it all in a day. It is VERY picturesque, the ultimate instagrammable old town, and has many good restaurants.JavierArgentina - 10Scored 10

Beautiful outdoor pool in atractive and well-cared for garden. Very Very Very good outdoor pool in beautiful and well cared-for garden. Very good indoor pool. Staff were helpful and ready to offer solutiions if needed. Friendly ambiance. Rooms in the tower are spacious and confortable. Good sized bathroom, although being elderly we missed security bars in the bathtub. Nice breakfast especially for sweet tooths. Food was very good at the restaurant but not cheap. It was disappointing the lack of flexibilitty to have food and refreshmente at tea time and no availabilitt of the nice pastries at mid afternoon. Very relaxing and lovely place for a longer stay.

The whole city is beautiful, the port, the bay, the river, the streets paved with cobblestones, the people was so kind, they were always willing to help, you can walk during the nights with total safety, and you can eat lovely meals in almost every place you visit..

All places historic center and beach I eat at Irenes have vegetarian and vegan food I dont recomand to eat at Reina restaurat Also you find a market vegan I dont rember street but was near historic center

Well worth the trip!
Well worth the trip! The history and the architecture is beautiful, and there is always much to see. Everything is in walkable distance, so we covered much in 3 days. Please do consider bringing dog treats/food for the friendly stray dogs. They need some love and care too.JUnited Kingdom

The owners are so kind and helpful. The room was comfortable, clean, had a dining area, kitchen area, hot shower and toiletries. They gave us helpful instructions to get to the hotel, gave lots of useful information about the area and offer 20% off in their cafe next door. The rooftop has a perfect view of the sea and sunset. The location is great.
