The interior was beautiful and the atmosphere was tranquil and overall pleasant. The host and the owner was overly generous and friendly. We had dinner at the masseria 4 evenings out of 5 and was downright spoiled for choice.

The breakfast was great - we had 3 breakfasts in total, all different each morning - homemade bread one morning and delicious omelet made with eggs from their hens and local salami and meats. Great coffee! The apartment was spacious and clean. Beautiful linen sheets on the bed, The swimming pool was beautiful and so lovely at the end of the day to have a swim and a glass of wine!

Nærværende og serviceminded personale, skønne værelser, nedkølet pool og bare smukt. Skøn morgenmad, hvor man kan vælge mellem en masse lækre ting, let frokost ved poolen og super god aftensmad af kok, som er der hver dag. Der er mulighed for at komme på tur i vinmarkerne, som omringer stedet og mulighed for at komme på pastakursus.

If you've never stayed in a Trullo before, this is where you should go to try it. Our room was actually a whole house. It's situated in the countryside on a working farm, the produce of which you will get to sample. Daniele, the host, is endlessly interesting and can tell you in detail about the workings of his farm from bee hives to the long rows of olive trees. Don't miss trying his excellent honey. I can't say enough good things about our stay.

When I had to leave this place I nearly burst into tears, and thought I might chain myself to the nearest olive tree and refuse to go! It's one of the best places I've ever stayed. My partner and I and another couple stayed and had a house each so that we both had bedrooms "under the cone". These historic houses have been restored and done up by Aldo, the owner, to a very high standard and with a lot of thought e.g. the fact that the bedrooms are under the cone in all three of the houses there. They are beautiful. They are fully equipped with everything you need, comfortable and have lots of outside space. The setting for these houses is in Aldo's olive grove which again is a beautiful peaceful place to be, and to go for a walk in the morning. There are all kinds of other fruit trees too and you can help yourselves as much as you like. The location of this place is near Villa Castelli which isn't one of the tourist towns, but certainly offers all the amenities you need, like shops and a few places to eat within a couple of miles. It is slightly further away from the main tourist towns but only by 5-10 mins which to me was worth it to stay somewhere so amazing. Aldo the owner is lovely and will help with anything you need. You need a car to get out and about and I recommend taking some mosquito spray.
